PPM Awards Three Scholarships to Area Students
PORTSMOUTH — On June 11th, three seacoast area high school graduates who will pursue the study of music were presented their award checks from Portsmouth Pro Musica Founder and Director, Priscilla Stevens French and Scholarship Committee Chair John Lamson. PPM Board of Directors were also on hand to congratulate scholarship winners and to express their thanks through Jeanne Supple to Measured Progress for their generous support of the scholarship fund.

Jordan Russell plans to attend UNH to major in Music Education. Jordan has distinguished herself in musical activities such as the UNH Symphony Orchestra, Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra, the New England Choral Festival and the DHS choir and orchestra.
Michelle Houle plans to attend Northeastern University’s Music Industry Program. Michelle’s distinguished music activities include : PHS Choir and Madrigal Singers, cantor/vocalist at Corpus Christi Parish, live sound management for PHS “Got Talent” event, All City Choir and band shows.
Margaret Leach plans to attend Florida Southern College in the Music Management Degree Program. Margaret’s distinguishing musical activities include Concert & Marching Band, Drum Major, Honors Choir, Orchestra, and the music editor Art Magazine.
Portsmouth Pro Musica is celebrating its 30th year of choral performances under the direction of Priscilla Stevens French.
