A New Season Begins

The Choir members reunited on a warm Tuesday evening in early September to share their stories of summer vacations and European touring and to kick off the 31st season of Portsmouth Pro Musica.  The gathering took place on the front lawn of the United Methodist Church on Miller Ave, home to PPM’s rehearsals for over 20 years.  Singers munched on snacks, shared stories and caught up on each other’s adventures since the Spring concert in April.  As the sun set, the group gathered into the church sanctuary as Founding Director Priscilla French introduced the group to the amazing music the group will be performing at the December Concerts.  It was a wonderful evening of smiles, fellowship and song.  It’s quite clear that this will be another great season for Portsmouth Pro Musica.
