Portsmouth Pro Musica began life under the direction of Priscilla Stevens French as Portsmouth Women’s Chorus in 1985.  Over the years, our group has achieved many milestones and made amazing friendships along the way.  We invite you to look through this collection of memories and images from the past three decades.  As we progress through our 30th season, we will continue to add more to this page.  Come back soon!

Been going to the Chorus concerts since they started years ago after taking a sight singing course by Priscilla a the School for Lifelong Learning here in Portsmouth about 1985 or 86. It’s great to see all the old photos and concert programs! Still have some cassette tapes from those concerts and they still sound great! What a great history of music in the seacoast.

Thank you, Al! You were one of the first donors in the early days of PWC, a student of
sight-singing and ear-training and now a bass in PPM – plus our Board Treasurer!
Thank you for 30 years of dedication to music in our community!
